In Hwa Rang Do® we study and apply principles and correct reactions to a dangerous situation.
In our practice we focus on simple, quick and highly effective reactions, applicable indistinctly by men and women, in situations of great mental stress.
Another important part of our practice is about the all the aspects of:
- Strategy (how to avoid potentially dangerous situations in first place);
- Awareness (being aware of your surroundings and people around you, but also being ready to react);
- De-escalation techniques (how to calm the opponent down to prevent physical aggression);
- Psychology and mental reactions (knowing how your mind works during the aggression to control it).
